Beloit interviews are very relaxed, mine was a lot of fun. It doesn’t matter whether your parent is there or not, either way is fine. Mainly they are to answer questions you have about Beloit. They really don’t matter much at all for admission, besides the fact that it shows you’re interested in the school.

I chose Beloit because of its intellectual “learning for learnings sake” environment, the students (friendliest, most interesting and most accepting out of the 6+ colleges I visited) and its very close student/faculty interaction. So far I have not been disappointed, the education has been amazing, the professors are great, I have a large group of great friends. And I do talk about class outside of class a lot, just for fun with my friends, which is something a lot of people say never happens. There is never a dull moment, I work hard, I have fun. Only complaint is the food is repetitive and blah, but it seems almost trivial compared to the great experiences I am having.
