“The “drop something in some old lady’s carry-on” is just one scenario. Another is the recruitment of non-Arabs or mixed race individuals or fairer skinned-Arabs.”

One of my co-workers married an Egyptian Muslim last week in a green card marriage. She actually loves him and thinks she will make him fall in love with her, but he is a very, very nasty man. So I do think it’s possible to recruit needy or otherwise willing Americans who don’t “look” the part.

When my D was flying out of Standsted, she had to put just a few items in a plastic bag- passport, money, and some papers with phone #s…as she was…her purse was put in her suitcase

There was a piece of paper with contact #s on it for the people picing her up at the airport, and she was not allowed to take that piece of paper with the phone #s, the secruity person said she didn’t need it, my D said she did, because since she couldn’t take her cell phone, in case there was a problem, she needed the #s…but no, that little piece of paper went into the suitcase

as my D said what was she gonna do, give someone a paper cut

and please don’t say, well, they have to draw a line…common sense would say that one piece of paper, which my D had diligently written down phone #s on because she knew she couldnt carry her phone and if something happened to her luggage, and man over 10,000 pieces went missing, she could still contact her relatives
