I currently attend IVC and ive heard things about occ from teachers and other students. I believe that IVC students have a higher chance of transferring to schools compared to OCC because OCC has a reputation of being a chill and relaxed school, but it has a better social environment than IVC. My teachers often look down on the curriculum and academics at OCC. I have many friends that are business majors and also bio majors that go here. However something to consider is that if you go for the bio major you are looking to be at CC for 3 years because of the amount of courses you need to take, compared to a business major which you will most likely only be staying for 2 years. When looking at IVC, most students are looking to transfer out so there is very little social life here. If you join clubs there are numbers of students ranging from 10-30 in them. Students usually stop going to clubs towards the end of the semester which is true of most schools. However as a second year here I have gotten acceptance letters from schools such as UCSB, Chapman, UCR, UCD!
