Is 20 AP classes and 2 college level classes over the course of high school rigorous for Ivy league?

I am also studying for AMC 10 this year and AMC 12 next year to qualify for the AIME.

Also, I will mostly get psat nmsqt finalist since I live in a smaller state in the midwest.

Don’t forget to be a teen. Relax. Do the things you love, not for some college but for yourself. Do your best, however, College admissions is a crap shoot so don’t plan your life around a HYPSM admission. Its a lottery in many ways. I Sometimes wonder if some of the exceedingly high stats perfect candidates get denied for that exact reason.

If you follow through with that schedule with your other activities you will certainly be swamped and likely regret taking so many AP’s. Ideally, you should get rid of the AP’s you have little or no interest in taking, and take ones that you have interest in or might be relevant to your future major.

FYI I’m an MIT alum and I believe I took seven (?) AP courses/exams. Only one mattered in terms of credit (Calculus BC).

I was a USAMO qualifier so I can tell you a bit about the AIME, etc. However the later problems on AMC 10/12s have gotten fairly difficult in recent years. Mastering topics for these contests can take a lot of time.
