With respect to the subject tests, again, you need to do your research. There are highly selective schools that don’t place that much emphasis on the subject tests. Also, I found that most kids took the subject tests that correlated with their APs, like chem, bio and american history, so their studying was not duplicative. If you need math, then that’s a different story like for engineering. Just remember, tufts and boston college are highly selective,too. Try to put your best foot forward! Good luck!
It just depends on your school list. 2110 is very good score but is below the average at every top school and well below the average at the elite colleges or LAC’s. So unless you have a hook or are not planning on the top schools retake the test after preparing.
I’d take it again since you’re aiming for those selective schools. If you studied over the summer, can you imagine how much higher a score you could achieve?!
