Is a 1480 SAT worth submitting to JHU?

Any user who has responded with a recommendation needs to move on vs belaboring their point.

Honestly, I was hoping that my 760 M would balance out my 32 M since it would equate to a 33 (and if my scores were 33M 35 W 35 R 35 S, my cumulative would be a 35).

I’m curious if the cumulative score is more arbitrary than the individual scores. Because if that is the case, the 32 M may not matter because I have already demonstrated my capabilities in the other 3 subjects. I’m going to reach out to my AO to see if I can get any insight into whether they view the cumulative or individual scores.

My 3.89 UW and 4.67 W puts my GPA lower than 70% of admitted students so I was hoping that my the collaboration between my ACT & SAT make up for it. But maybe I should just submit my ACT and let Jesus take the wheel. I’m forced to make do with my sub par scores so it may be more beneficial to reallocate my attention towards the non-academic/extracurricular part of my application…

Please understand…your scores are NOT ā€œsubparā€ scores.

My son submitted both scores because his math score was much higher in one than the other. I don’t think it’s a problem.

I vote for just ACT. That 1 point won’t really move the needle. Why risk it?
