So if you are from out of state, the tuition is all on you and oos tuition isn’t cheap. There are many private institutions that are equally well-regarded which will atleast give you some assistance financially. If you really want to go to Cal, maybe attend a JC here and get residency. Some of the JC’s have guaranteed UC admission tracks (not necessarily to UCB, however).</p>
