<p>Circuits - Ex: Transistor fabrication, CMOS design, VLSI design, microwave circuit design, etc. This is geared towards hardware design and circuits.</p>
<p>Signals and Systems- Digital signal processing, communication systems, communication networks, control systems, etc… The communications field concentration.</p>
<p>Computer structures- Microprocessor, digital computer design, etc. Concentration on assembly language programming…mips, verilog, bit manipulation, gates…etc. This is geared towards computer hardware design and embedded programming.</p>
<p>Electromagnetism - Optics, wave propagation, antennas and transmission lines. This is more geared towards topics on wireless as well as RF engineering.</p>
