<p>I believe it is currently the policy of Undergraduate Admissions to give a straight admit or deny decision for most ED applicants. A very few applicants are deferred to the RD pool.</p>
<p>D applied ED and was accepted. Nothing to do with being a legacy. Legacy has no standing at Vandy. ED will increase your chances of being accepted and they are more than fair with fin-aid so I don’t see a downside to ED if you are sure this is the place to go.</p>
