Is it good to have many interests?

<p>Actually, I’m not an international :). I’m guessing I slipped in my application by explaining my many interests without attaching an intensity to them. Also, my low SAT I scores (650M 620CR 660W and 650M 660CR 590W) must have made a difference.</p>

<p>Though it really seems as though MIT doesn’t attach too much importance to SAT scores. A girl at my school got in last year by sheer virtue of the intensity of her devotion to robotics, and not much else.</p>
