Is it possible for me to get a 3.8 or higher unweighted GPA?

So I would forget about which school to attend but as stated becoming a better student overall. Does your schools have peer to peer tutors? My son’s school had this in high school and held during lunch period out in the open. Getting help was a cool thing not a negative. Have you approached your teachers for help? Can you get the weeks coming up notes ahead of time? Ask you teachers. Talk to your teachers about what to focus on. Sometimes getting lower grades than expected is because you don’t understand what to study. Your teachers can help with this.

Find a student doing well in X class and see if they are willing to answer some of your questions.

Work on understanding the material. Not just grades. I know it sounds strange but once you understand the material the grades will follow.

Stats is fun but not a rigor class. Calc is. Many colleges want you to start college ready for Calc.

Good luck. Many students go to a variety of colleges and end up being successful. I wouldn’t concentrate on the name of the college at this point. Find a college that is a good fit and that you can learn at. I wouldn’t concentrate on brand names. Plus, it’s too early in the game for me this.
