Today I just got a letter from the College Board informing me that I have been selected for the Siemens Award for Advanced Placement (I’m from Wyoming though… so it’s significantly easier to get haha). I just had an alumni interview and I asked her what I should do. She said she would try to work it somehow to her report. But the interview isn’t really the appropriate place for awards?

Is there any way to let Yale know about this before decision time? Does it really matter?? The award definitely carries some weight for applicants from larger states but not so much for Wyoming since winners are chosen state-by-state. Most high schools in the state don’t even offer half of the AP courses required for consideration for the award.
