<p>The SAT I and SAT II math are completely different. The reasoning test mostly focused on your ability to solve problems using basic algebra/geometry and logic. The Math IIC test is more algebra 2 and critical thinking.</p>
<p>If it gives you any perspective, I took practice tests for both last year. I got to almost perfect quite quickly and easily for the SAT I math, but I found the IIC test much more difficult, thus taking me much longer to achieve ~80% on practice tests. I ended up with 800’s on both in the end, but the IIC is definitely harder and you need to practice.</p>
