Is it rude to ask people what they got on the AP Exam?

^^agreed, who really cares what anyone got?

I want to know how I stack up compared to certain people in my class? I don’t think it is a competition at all, I just want to know other peoples score. I’m sorry, lol.

Everyone likes to know everyone else’s scores at my school. I know like 6/9 of my fellow APUSH buddies’ scores. And I got three of them from one person. xD We like to share scores.

It makes us appear -chuckles- like a competitive school. xDDDDD

I don’t do it as a competition, I want to know how certain people did and everyone overall.

^Yes, it is rude to continue to ask people their score–especially if they aren’t your friends. It’s none of your business what they got. Also, don’t assume that they earned a lower score than you. They may not want to tell you because they earned 4’s and 5’s and it would hurt your feelings.

I like to digress into the question. I start saying like, “So, I heard you to the AP Bio test, and results came in”.

They will probably tell you their scores at that point.

I don’t continue to ask them if they said no and I never said that, :)

I usually say “Did you get your AP results in, I got a 3”

PS- I can careless if the person got higher scores. I know some kids are smarter then I am and I don’t care.

Actually, I don’t tell people my scores just because I don’t want to look nerdy- whether my scores are high or not. I know a really smart guy who don’t tell other people his marks either… probably because of the same reason.

I absolutely hate looking nerdy and try to appear as normal as possible.

I don’t ask people for their scores because that’ll probably mean I have to tell them mine…

Seriously, if you want to know how you stack up, go check CB’s score ranges… and if you’re doing it for self-esteem… that’s kinda mean to the other person who probably did worse.

P.S. I find people who repeatedly ask for my marks (whether it’s for the same test or not) when they clearly know that I don’t like telling them my marks. It’s soo annoying…

CB only has scores from 2008. I would find it annyoing if someone kept on asking.

The score ranges don’t change that much from year to year…

Ok Thanks…

I think it’s only rude if a person is very persistent in finding out your scores.

Thanks and I agree Laura.

CC user: I got a 1 on Chem…ugh! how’d you do?

friend: nailed it. scored a 3. smirks

CC user: lol, I actually got a 5.

friend(crying): well i had mr. clark who’s by far the worst teacher. you had Roberts, right?

CC user: lol, I didn’t take chem. self studied the night before.

friend(sobbing hysterically): /wrists

That’s pretty funny, lol.

lol, good laugh right there

yeah… lol
