<p>There is no such thing as a legitimate World ranking. There isn’t even such a thing as a legitimate national ranking! But one thing is certain, a ranking that places Harvard above UIUC in Engineering and IT is pathetic. UIUC has one of the top 10 Engineering programs on Earth. Harvard should not even be ranked among the top 30. </p>
<p>Do you realize that the same USNWR that published the rankings you provided the link to above produces its own rankings? Typically, the UIUC is ranked between #4 and #8 in Engineering in the US and Harvard is almost always ranked out of the top 25 in the US. I am not sure how they can stomach the thought of publishing the Times rankings which completely contradicts their own ranking.</p>
