is my common app still considered late?

I agree with jazz/shreddermom. While USC is VERY strict about the scholarship deadline, they are much more forgiving on the regular deadline. I was at a luncheon at USC a couple of years ago in early March and found myself sitting next to an admissions officer. She mentioned that she was reading an application that had come in the previous day (early March). I was very surprised and asked if USC would even consider such a late application, and she said they read and consider every application they receive. I do not know if that applicant was admitted, but I do know that they were given a fair consideration. I think your 15 minutes will be okay.

I second the suggestion to contact your admissions counselor and tell them what you told us. Don’t be overemotional, do any begging, or ask for a refund. State the facts and then say you hope your application will still be considered because you are very interested in attending USC.

Good luck!
