Is my degree going to mean anything?

Other work colleges may also be a good fit for you - like Berea College in Kentucky, Warren Wilson College in NC and College of the Ozarks in Missouri. There you work in exchange for tuition as well.

Deep Springs is also excellent - their alumni transfer to some of the top four-year colleges in the nation. But it’s a two year college.

@MYOS1634 … On-campus living has an age limit!? wow, lol…

I’ve been trying to get opportunities to do research, or be involved in studies, etc. at my school… no joy, yet - still hunting. Perhaps physically-present classes could work out some time before grad school…

Thanks for telling me about meet-needs schools.
Also, I’m not a vet…

Well, there’s no age limit, but wouldn’t you feel weird rooming with a 19 year old ?
Even if you’re not a veteran, a college with lots of veteran’s is likely to have more ‘non traditional’ students (older than the usual 18-22 age group) and to be more responsive to their needs.

I second the idea of work colleges indeed.

@MYOS1634 I’d probably hang myself if I had a 19yo room mate, that would solve my dilemma.

Thanks again gents.
