45 Percenter,
Would that be you? By the way, if Chicago fails to get the 2016 Summer Olympics, I am sure you will be one of the best persons to work for Philly 2020. ;)

Sam, it would be my pleasure to show you around. :)

You may not know this, but Philly actually was one of the 5 cities (along with Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco) actively competing to be the American city bidding for the 2016 Olympics:

[Over 45 Business and Civic Leaders to Pilot Region’s Bid for 2016 Games: Staley, Torsella and Cohen to Chair Effort | Business Wire | Find Articles at BNET.com](http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0EIN/is_2006_June_5/ai_n16442055)

That demonstrates how high the city has set its sights in terms of its place in the world. Who knows? We still might see a Philly Olympics some day.

I think it would be possible to see a Philadelphia Olympics (Phillymics?) in my lifetime.

But definitely towards the end of it, though.

Hey, that still puts us ahead of New Haven and Palo Alto ;)
