<p>After a lot of thought, I have decided not to go to my prom, my costs would have turned out like this:
$300 for two tickets (I would’ve gone with a date) - it’s at the Waldorf-Astoria, which is why it’s so much
$100 + for limo
$100 + for tux
at least $40 for after-prom
for a total of over $500, which I just can’t afford right now.</p>
<p>It softens the blow though that I’m going to my friend’s prom so I will have gone to A senior prom before I graduate, just not mine.</p>
