Chris had more save votes than the other 3 combined. I didn’t think his song choice was that strong-- for me, just okay. Love his falcetto but don’t really think he has the goods compared to the remaining singers. He also looks stiff to me when he performs.

Felt really bad for Luke. Forgetting the lyrics and then watching him put that eye twitch of his into overdrive after his disastrous performance ended.

DaNica’s timing was off and thought Ryan did about as well with his song as he could do, which wasn’t enough to stay in the competition. Taylor and Damien gave really solid performances on Monday. Damien’s gamble with an Adele song obviously paid off. Love Taylor’s musicality.

Hoping Craig nails the song choices moving forward, which wasn’t the case in choosing an Eagles song. Want to see him stay in honky tonk mode from here on out. Hoping he and Blake will do something together that gets him rave reviews.

Matt will be hard pressed to rank 3 on iTunes again and match the performance he delivered Monday. Not sure any of us would be unhappy to see Matt win and most of us would be thrilled. He would probably be the least controversial winner of all the remaining artists.

I think Carson Daly has improved somewhat this season. He seems to have more energy and doesn’t appear as “lost” as he has in previous seasons.

I do think the strongest performers stayed, even though they may not have the best voices, per se. While their voice gets them on the show, something more is needed to make it all the way through.
I’d like to see Taylor win, but Matt obviously has the stronger following and probably a wider appeal. I don’t think Matt or Taylor will have a hard time matching their past performances. I expect Craig to also be strong, but both Damien and Chris are a little more unpredictable, imo.
I think Carson Daly. is better this season, too. He seems more mature and less hyper.

Carson Daly used to be worse? He is so much like background elevator music, I barely even notice he is there. I figured maybe that was the point. Nobody matches Ryan Seacrest, but that guy has zero personality.

I was disappointed about Danica. I think she is phenomenal, and her performance yesterday was excellent. But I do think that Chris performed best today. I think it’s easy for people to vote for the last singer, if they do well. I wonder if it is stacked in some way, or purely random order. Though I like Taylor, I think Danica is far better, but then again it is probably just a matter of preference. Otherwise, the other three that went on are the ones I thought should go through.

I think they’re all good. And they’re all different. It makes it hard to judge one against the other when they are completely different styles. I think we all “judge” on our own personal preferences. From here on out, it will probably come down to song choice and who has the best night (as opposed to the whole body of work.)

Reagan James is from my area. I have seen postings on Facebook about her still having a chance to win the Voice with a wildcard appearance December 9. Does anyone know how that is going to work?

I think the one’s left are all good, too. I agree with musicmom in that styles are really key when people judge one against the other- we’re often just commenting on the type of music we might like to listen to. DaNica has a stronger more powerful voice than Taylor, yes, a better singer in the strictest sense. I was sorry to see her go and would rather have had her stay than Chris. But then I’d rather listen to Taylor, or even go to one of his concerts because of his originality. I also really like the tone of Taylor’s voice. I find it much more pleasing than Matt’s, but that’s just me, as it seems most people feel the opposite. They are all different and very talented.

I am still feeling bad for Luke. I loved his voice and his style, but choking under stress, bummer. It seems like something that he should conquer in time, but for this season he was not up to being able to handle the stress levels that this kind of opportunity throws at you. I also noticed his eye twitch and was hoping the cameras would point at something else.

Chris did a great job with my all time favorite jazz standard, “Georgia.” Good for him. Maybe Luke heard him practice and realized that Chris was pretty darn good at jazz stuff so he felt more pressure? I would love to see Chris and Luke do something as a duo.

Oh, let’s hope she can bring back some of that magic from Burleson with a bit of the talent of that local singer who did have a real “Voice.” I remember when Kelly Clarkson came to the show to sing with the bespectacled kneeling singer and the difference was striking. The word on the street is that Reagan was sick before getting booted from the show. That might explain some of it.

As far as the show goes, it is still everyone’s game as the scores of Taylor indicates that a lackluster candidate can emerge at the right moment. I don’t really care for Matt, but I can see why many seem to like him. It is time for Blake to keep it simple and have the CW voters rallying behind Craig.

Craig did well if you like that genre. Taylor John I’m sure people will love, but to me it sounded too low and too clipped in the verses. It was kind of boring to me.

Chris singing one of Adam’s new songs. He and Taylor James were the two who didn’t get standing ovations from the judges. He’s cute and did well, but he’s not better than matt, Craig and Damien.

Chris was great. Maroon5 should get rid of Adam and hire him. :)

I missed Damien, heard the others. If Craig doesn’t have a good country career after this, I’d be really surprised. Matt can definitely do anything. Taylor is his own man. He’s at least as good as any number of people out there. I can certainly see him being successful.

Listening to Damien’s second song: the guy is, of course, really good. I just don’t think he’s commercial.
