I think they said last night that Meaghan was 29. Said she had been in the entertainment business for ten years. Surely the platinum blond hair is dyed. The way it was styled last night made her look older.
I think her career began when she was 14, from what I read. She’s definitely got a lot of years of experience and a big fan base.
Does anyone else think Meaghan looked a little like Cyndi Lauper last night? I agree with musicmom1215. I think she’s cute, but looks older than 29.

Blake was very tough on Adam yesterday.
The contestants don’t seem to be picking Adam as much this year. He did have three finalists last year. Maybe because he plays favorites on his team? I don’t know.
I think there are a lot of good singers this year.
Perhaps it has shifted somewhat but I recall Cassadee Pope (lead singer Hey Monday) also having a fair amount of success and that was at least 2 years ago. For me, having some “ringers” gives the show a higher quality talent mix than Idol and I appreciate that.
There have been a number of “ringers” on The Voice, including Tessane Chin.
Last year was a fluke. Contestants are still slow to learn and do not seem to have watched many of the prior seasons. Adam is known for making weird decisions regarding song choices and running out of ideas at the end. His reliance on falsettos did cost his singers last season. Despite having the frontleader and the fan’s favorite, Adam pretty much doomed his three artists with poor choices.
I think that Adam’s wish is to crown someone that would be Adam II. In the meantime, his antics are mostly the domain of petulant teenagers. It has gotten very old.
On a different note, Pharrell better get more gigs on TheVoice. He might need some money to pay the Gaye estate.
I wonder if this audition happened while the last season was still on. I thought Pharell made a mess of the songs and over produced them last season. With 3 finalists I’d think people would be all over Adam. And I wouldn’t pick Blake unless I was a country singer, and I wouldn’t pick Christina unless I worshiped her and was a squealy screamer singer.
She looked so much younger and better last night!

Adam? Wins in the first season with Colon and with Tessane Chin two years ago. He has one second place. Adam did horribly in Season 2-3-4.
