Sawyer singing for what it’s worth. You know im not a sawyer fan. He always sings in a very narrow range and he’s keeping that up. Some soggy bottom boy background band. Sawyer lovers will love it. I will say he has also stepped it up. Last week was awful for everyone. This week everyone is doing their thing well. It’s a matter of whether you care for it.
My 18 yo daughter said sawyer was meh, she wouldn’t buy his music. I think he’s picking songs way too old to appeal to his teeny bopper demographic.
I thought Joshua’s second song was done really well. He seems to be gaining some confidence or something.
Joshua singing a song I don’t know. Doing well with it but it’s lacking some pizazz. I like his voice, but I don’t think he has that star quality.

I’ve thought that for several seasons. I wish they dial back on the bickering between judges. It’s boring and childish. My least favorite part of watching the show.

Well,the judges seem to really like Koryn’s second song. Even Adam gave her high praise.
Hubby just turned to me and said this was torture. Im just not a gospel fan. But everyone is on their feet, so what do I know. She was on key and sang all out. Adam is more enthusiastic about everyone elses contestants.
Blake just doesn’t seem like an underwear commercial kind of guy to me. Sorry Blake. Don’t like that commercial either.
Tone and pitch are important to my ears (yeah, I know you can auto tune to make up for lack of, but that’s not my cup of tea). I don’t care for Sawyer’s tone … it’s a bit flat for my taste. Koryn’s tone is not something I care for, either - she almost seems to be pushing it (although I realize she is not, which I can tell by her speaking voice). India’s pitch leaves something to be desired, IMO.
Leaving Meghan and Joshua. I do like Meghan, although I think she was better when she didn’t try so hard to “connect” … all the emphasis on connecting seems to be encouraging over-dramatization on the part of the women. Joshua is growing on me, especially when he (not Adam) picks his songs. I loved Fields of Gold when he did it, and I am enjoying his songs in that vein.
I am listening to Meghan’s 2nd song and think she sounds great.

I don’t have a strong opinion on Meghan’s second song. Not bad, not great. So far I’m guessing India goes home.
I just like Melissa Mccarthy and I think it makes me understand why men love those dumb comedies.
Megan was fine. Im also a pitch and tone person and I like her fine. Im not going to rush the stage or download her songs but I may not change the station if a song of hers came on.
