Finally… montages… 3 in all. Mikele lost to Chevel in one of the montages.

Congrats to musicmom for having an intact team and musicmerit having only lost 1.
I lost Mercedes last week and Mikele this week so far. I was hoping Mikele would be the equivalent of last season’s Country Kaleb (also on Team Kelly) but, when I saw coach Kel paired him with Chevel, I knew she would keep her young one just like she kept Brynn last season.
I love the talent this season. Great teen artists, Watch out for Reagan and especially Abby. Some went home that would have gotten stolen in past seasons: Mikele, Natalie, Matt, Foushee, Emily, and Audri. I liked pretty much everyone tonight.
Still ahead of musicmerit and musicmom (who hasn’t lost a team member after 3 Battles) and I’m not going down without a fight. I have 980,000 points. Still at #4 on the National Leaderboard, probably for just 1 more day since I lost another team member. I have 5 team members who haven’t battled yet.
Keith Palusso sent me 2 clever and funny personal tweets, including Video GIFs, just before and after he battled Dave Fenley last night. He was stolen by Adam, who Blake blocked in the Blinds, after losing to Fenley in the Battle Round. It was also nice to see Kelly steal Zaxai after JHud had blocked her during his Blind Audition.
I have 797,500 points. I have Chevel and caught that she won her battle but missed who she battled. I have not been following closely enough to know who hasn’t battled yet. I did enjoy the Zaxai steal.
I always worry that the montages spell future doom, like my team member Radha. She beat Foushee which was a surprise to me. Thought Foushee had a very good Blind. Cannot see Radha making it through the Knockouts, Playoffs, and the Live Shows. I like Reagan on Adam’s team but the teen I think could surprise, that has not gotten much buzz yet, is Abby Cates (Team Kelly).
I watched a little bit for the first time this season last night. I guess that I am in the minority that I didn’t think the 16 year old or the 13 year old that Adam paired up were outstanding. It seems to me that all the hype was just because they were young. Don’t shoot me! Just my musical opinion.
Important reminder! Edit your teams after the Tuesday show but no later than first thing Wednesday AM:
Wednesday 10/24 at 12 noon Pacific, teams automatically get reduced from 12 to 8. Make sure you have your team of 8 set on the Voice App ABOVE the lower section of 4. At noon Pacific, whichever 4 artists and day counts you have in the lower section will automatically disappear.

For me, one of the highlights of the Battles so far has been Halsey. What an effective guest coach. Moriah will be guest coach in the Knockouts a week from now. That “impromptu” duet last night with JHud and Kelly is starting to make sense now.

I do not like my team members from Team Blake, except for Dave. I think Kameron might be on the bubble now that Kirk is there representing Country (and Blake can develop an African American Country artist like he did with Spensha last season), also having Katrina who is an awesome female Country artist, and with him stealing Funsho.

I have 971,500 points. I moved the artists with the most days to the top. I have Sarah Grace, Tyshawn, Tyke, Patrick and Kennedy at 30 days. And Deandre, Kameron and Claire at 29 days. My bottom was Chevel, Kymberli, SandyRedd and Reagan. I only added Reagan when I lost Mikele. Everyone else won their battles.
The only change I made from my previous post is I am keeping Keith instead of Michael. My team has 2 represented from each coach now. Even though Kymberli and Dave only have minimal days on my team, they are 2 of my favorites this season.
I REALLY do not like this year’s format. I think it’s also incredibly unfair because how can you tell how good someone actually is if you don’t get to see the battle?!!!
Does anyone else think that sometimes Kelly picks the weaker singer intentionally, presumably to increase the chances that the loser will be stolen? I don’t think she would do this for the people on her team she thinks really have a good chance of winning, but I think she does it when it’s close and neither person was outstanding.
