Here are some of the things I would like to do when the need to postpone work becomes especially acute:** vacuum the tops of my books; **wash my pillows and bedside carpets to remove dust mites and allergens, which don’t always come out in dry cleaning (before reading this book, I was happily unaware of the existence of dust mites); boil vinegar and water in my stainless steel pots to remove mineral deposits.
