Is this a good plan?

You’re on the way there. You will need to:

Join or start a medical club at your school (I suggest Future Doctors of America (FDA))
–This allows you to compete and experience medicine with other students and become a leader

Join other clubs to show your area of interest (preferably not academic)

Go to Pre-College Summer Programs (John Hopkins has a great one)

As usual, get a great GPA and SAT

Even with all that, Yale is a reach, but you should reach the others. If you’re in the California area, I would also suggest Stanford’s amazing medical lab summer program for high school students. Good luck!

Chance me?
