<p>I got a “PayPal” email one time similar to this…and I don’t even HAVE a PayPal account.</p>
<p>lunitari-that just happened to my grandmother. My grandfather died last November, and we’re assuming that’s where he got my brother’s name.</p>
<p>Upon the scammer finishing his little speech, my grandma suspected something was fishy (as my brother had recently returned from Alaska) and said “Grandson, when is your birthday?”</p>
<p>And the guy promptly hung up.</p>
