LAMP is a competitive program. The career goals that you specify in your application essay should sound ambitious in order to compete with other applicants. Physician’s assistant might not sound very good compared to other professions one can go into with liberal arts degrees. Many accepted students are also in Hutton honors.

Also, do not underestimate the difficulty of maintaining a 3.3 gpa in COAS. Not very tough to do in Kelley, but can be very tough for many liberal arts major areas.

Also, K201 is not even required for the LAMP degree. CSCI A110 will substitute for K201, and is an easy A for just about anybody who puts in the time, and not nearly as challenging as K201, and the students who take CSCI A110 are not nearly as motivated. You should take the easier grading options when there are choices, so that you can protect your gpa. The LAMP seminars grade easily and can help boost your overall gpa, but you have to get accepted into LAMP to take those. Here are the course requirements.
