<p>I have been given tickets that our family could not use and were given to someone else. Depending on the situation, I would tell the person who gave me the tickets just in case they are going to the even or have friends/family going to the event and are going to be seated right next to us. Just so they are not expecting to see me and see someone else. </p>
<p>I have tickets to a concert that someone sold to me since their guests could not make it, and I relayed to them that I may not be the person at the concert even though there was no need to say so, since the original procurers of the ticket was going to be there and asked if I was going.</p>
