<p>As a freshman at Yale I can say with certainty that Yale is NOT overrated. We all know that Yale is strong academically. No one can deny that. And no one can deny that there are tons of other schools that you can receive an amazing education from. But the thing that really makes Yale special is the vibrancy of the campus. The people here aren’t just amazingly creative and brilliant in the classroom; their strengths translate into everything else they do. This means that they’ll go out of their way to plan that awesome masquerade ball or the Darth Vader flash mob in between classes. They’re willing to put in the time to make that film that they’ve been talking about or to found a semi-secret historical society that explores campus secrets at night. Life at Yale is never boring. And plus the network that you create at Yale is amazing. The school really works to try to put you in contact with great minds and very helpful alumni… I love Yale.</p>
