OP, have you emailed the admission representative who signed your letter of admission to Penn ? Also, if you are first generation (neither parent have a 4-yezr degree) you need to explain this as many students know about fafsa but some don’t know about css profile and that may trip them up.
OP, it isn’t necessary to post your family’s income online but do you realize that even at $150,000/year, you will get some aid at Penn? Sometimes students and parents disqualify themselves from aid without realizing how much private schools offer.
Say you drop the cost from $60’s to $40,000 per year. That’s $160,000 for four years which isn’t a small number but definitely better.
There may be ways to reduce cost. None guaranteed but all worth exploring. Talk to Penn re: process of being an RA sophomore year. What percent that apply are selected? That would cover room and board. Have no idea what you envision career wise but if it’s in intell/ national security check out Stokes scholarships. Lots of govt agencies / organizations have scholarship / internship programs that can be lucrative. Some come w some sort of commitment. I wouldn’t pass on Penn without exhausting all ways to rrduce cost. Start by completing FAFSA asap and by calling financial aid.
