<p>Winning something in a debate tournament doesn’t really count for anything unless it’s districts/state/nationals.</p>
<p>Just for the record, so brighten the hopes of future college applicants:</p>
<p>Despite my dismal “chances”, I still got into every college I applied to: New York University, Boston University, Stanford, MIT, Cornell, Columbia, Yale, and (yes) Harvard. So don’t let these chances threads get to you.</p>
