for the last 3-4 years, they have released around noon. I teach in HS and it’s chaos when JMU comes out during the school day.

Since last year it was Jan 23 I’m thinking next week. Someone also said in another group that their instagram account usually says something a day or two before they come out.

I did hear that they are trying to avoid disruptions in HS classes, so were going to make the decision time (of day) after school hours. Who knows when, though!

just got off the phone with admission office ( was inquiring about accepted student days)

she said no decision release this week

Oh! oh well. Tuesday’s email saying that decisions were coming “soon” definitely got hopes up. Thanks for the info.

I spoke with someone about an hour ago in admissions who said they will start releasing today until end of Jan.

that explains the vague “soon” email! Progressive release is torture. Agree with poster above- their social media pages normally pre-announce, too. They’ve been quiet

Interesting - we can’t get into my son’s account right now, even though we could last night.(There was no decision last night.) it says, “unable to sign in.” Maybe they’re loading decision letters? :grimacing:

Did anyone else get an email about applying to Honors tonight? Requires two essays and deadline is Jan 22
 but students don’t even know if they’ve been accepted yet.

S26 just told me yes, he got the same email. He doesn’t remember if he indicated he’s interested in applying for the Honors College or not on the Common App. Was that even an option on the Common App?

Also, interesting that the deadline is Jan 22, in 5 days?!!!
