can someone tell me what the square problem was where u had to find the length of a side of a square?

i remember it was like working out the area (9*4=36)
then extract 36 for its root as well as the length of the side, 6

Hey!!! Why is it 7+11 for the prime question? Shouldn’t it be 3+7 = 10?

no prime number in between

Any takers on the second grid-in question. I kinda got a block. If a=12-b. What is 4a when b=12? I got either 8 or 2; not quite sure.

P.S Silverturtle is a beast. I’ve been monitoring these discussions since the 23rd, and WOW. Props, man.

Also, here are some of the questions I remember

I only for the plane tickets thingie
4 routes through F
1/9
15/2
2(x-5) (x+5) question… 2a (I think this is incorrect, and I know why
)
3250 for the 5% question
1250 for the bacteria
25%

Can someone please explain the PQRS question and the 69 number question in a very lucid manner? lol

what was the 72 member band question?

I’m sorry if this has been asked before, but was the answer 16/3 part of the experimental math section? I believe the question involved two overlapped right triangles… either it’s missing from the consolidated list or it’s experimental (personally hoping it’s the latter-- I know I got that one wrong).

for the smallest fraction one
why isn’t it 1/18?
(0+1+2)/(17+18+19)

Because it said positive integers… 0 is not an integer. So, (1+2+3)/(17+18+19) = 1/9

craaaappppp
i need to start reading questions…

^^ 0 IS an integer, it just isn’t positive. and yes, shom126, read the questions to be able to answer them correctly lol

well hopefully that was the only question I got wrong

2 missed no omits = ??? 750-780???

^ Probably 760.

Yeah, sorry for explaining that incorrectly. So does anyone know about the 16/3 one?

I got 4a = 8. I don’t remember if the problem asked for a or 4a.

@ cht2011 and Randwulf: How come I can’t remember either of the problems that you’re talking about? Did you guys have an experimental Math section?

EDIT: cht2011, I just saw your previous post in this thread. Yes, the “overlapping triangles” problem was definitely part of the experimental section. Randwulf, I still can’t remember which question you’re referring to. Care to refresh my memory? :P

hey guys im new to forums. Can someone explain to me what the math question was asking where it said find d/c + 1/2? Thanks a bunch. Like I’m just wondering what the wording was because i dont really remember the problem.
