Oh i remember on one of the sections the last question right before the passage was… Assuming the fact that… something children blah blah blah. I thought that Assuming the fact that was the error because “the fact that” is repetitive and can be deleted. Sorry if someone has already discussed this.

@sat4lyfe:
The X chromosome one was something like:
The X chromosome was named “X” not because it looked like… something, not because of its resemblance to the letter X.

And the New York apples one was like:
75% of the apples in New York are imported from the West, even though New York produces more than enough apples to meet its needs.

just out of curiosity…how accurate (for many agreed answers were wrong) are these SAT discussion threads usually?
like for this year’s PSAT for example

I remember for sure I had the windmill passage. If someone could tell me about the other possible passages (not just Irish/skyscraper) I would appreciate it

They’re usually pretty accurate, at least for those that many people agree on. However, some questions have provoked countless pages of heated debate, and in those cases it’s pretty hard to tell who’s right until the answers are released, lol

no what I mean can you elaborate please? It’s possible I had one of them but I just can’t remember b/c I don’t may much attention to the passages.

^The question about New York and apples, yes… I debated whether it should be no error or if “more than enough” should actually just be “enough.”

Can’t remember what I ended up putting down.
