can i ask about the essay on this thread? :(?

I didn’t put “In addition, people did not welcome…” because I thought that was too repetitive since it was later stated in the same sentence that people thought it messed up the view.

I think I put one of the generic ones. :D

I don’t think you can talk about the essay until you get your score…

ok!! thanks

i think “they” was “it”. I chose E as well.

what do you guys think of the overall difficulty? hard, easy, medium?

I don’t think that was the gist of the question, but yeah, I put E as well.

I, too, noticed that repitition, but I couldn’t see a better choice.

the agency was one thing so it was " it ".

so far -3 10-11 essay. hopefully 750+

what would 3 questions wrong with a raw of -4 be with a 10 essay?

does anyone know which questions delontewest was talking about when he said

“inhabited with” and “life vs. lives” ??

CR - easy, M/W - medium.
compared to previous years’ tests. there weren’t a lot of insanely difficult questions this time, especially on the CR section [weren’t that many inference/global questions]

I don’t remember that either…maybe he had an experimental section??

Probably around 730.

what was the candy/ calorie answer

was it “but do”

what would a -5 and a 12 essay be? approximately? thanks

-5 raw or 5 wrong?

-5 raw would be 740; five wrong would be 730 (700 with 10 essay).

yepp I believe it was

for anyone wondering their writing score who has taken the SAT previously - if you ordered the SAS [student answer service], in the back of the test booklet there are charts showing the essay score vs MC to find your score. It really depends on the test - I got a 760, but on a different test I would’ve gotten a 780 with the same essay and MC.

I put “had swam” as the error for the whale question too. it’s “swum” right?

so at which point does a 10 essay decrease your MC score and at which point does a 10 essay increase your score?
