also what was the purpose of the parenthetical comment in the group passage? acknowledged disconfort or some people are averse to self reflection. the author already said uncomfortable before that

I had 4 CRs, which included architecture, japanese rice, cold war, seahorses, and one about literary criticism which I think must have been the experimental section.

Yea I had 4 CRs too. Which one was the experimental section, section 4 or 5?

They were asking for the lines perpendicular with the plane. That could only occur twice

and what did move mean for the power vacuum.and soviet union? i said advanced but i considered relocated

You can’t tell since everyone’s is in a different order…I’m fairly sure the experimental CR from mine was the one that had something about plays?

I can’t remember the number but I’m 90% sure it was the one with literary critic passage.

“Anyone get 1500 for one of the grid-ins?”

Yeah, cylinder volume.

Do you guys remember the one where they wanted you to find arc length of the shaded area for two circles that were overlapping? I got 16pi and was worried about it.

“i said advanced but i considered relocated”

I said advanced.

I also got advanced

I thought CR was reasonable, essay topic was the same (but I ran out of time and had to quickly write a conclusion) and the math was good with the exception of one section. Time will tell how I did though…

Can someone explain this “experimental” stuff? How will it affect the scores?

can someone refresh me on the literary critic passage?

also whatd you get for the last soviet union q it was like how would the school react and i said they blame economic expansion of us

yeah since 24pi x 2/3 equals 16 pi.

Seahorses: for the “subtle and affected” one, I put less big or whatever that choice was since it was more obvious. anyone else?

The literary critic one was some guy talking about when he was a kid he read more about criticism of popular writing (someone named Cath or something was the writer mentioned a lot) than popular writing.

Did terrible on the essay, but felt I might have gotten all the writing MCs. Any idea how that would translate with a 6-8 on the essay and no more than 1 or 2 wrong on the MC?

Also hoping the experimental reading was the one with vocab words like insidious, iconoclast, auspicious-- not sure which passages went with that section though. I’m pretty sure it was section 5.

^
Probably was because I didn’t see those words at all.

I think my essay was generic. I used language, visual arts, and scientific research as supporting examples to prove my point. It filled both pages to the end and I used big words, though. I’m predicting a 10 because they gave me an 8 on my last test, in which I barely had two paragraphs for the essay. I don’t know how it happened.

“how would the school react and i said they blame economic expansion of us”

I said that too. Basically the first essay was “blame the Russians” and the second one was “blame the Americans.”

What…that’s really weird, I didn’t get that section…
But I’m sure I had a reading experimental…

Does anyone remmeber “affronted” in the sentence completion questions??

A 6-8 essay with 1 or 2 wrong would probably be around 720.
