***JANUARY 2014 INTERNATIONAL SAT***

Because of the dry and sunny weather, Virginia loved to study in Arizona, even though she had not wanted to be so far away from her family.

^ You mean this question? @Sparkkid1234

Oh yeah ths jencee  i dont have a very good memory
So what did u put for that question?

I think I put E) no error. It was one of those identifying error questions, right?

Reason: If Virginia had previously planned to go to college close to her family, for example, then the pluperfect tense is correct in this case.

I’m not 100% sure about this question though.

I’m reposting the answer Google doc for ease of access.

<a href=“January 2014 - Google Docs”>https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MfvcKbgYpDrYSd5CZmOzX9hOgxI_9Hy9pPqaJG3h9gI/edit

I chose E also. There’s nothing wrong with the verb tense in this sentence.

@MITquantum I’ve been looking through some of the previous threads for this same test, and people have said that the math curve was really bad.

Apparently -1 was 760.

What about the identifying error one sth like this:
The store’s policy helps… But makes the store less attractive to customers I put “but makes” but im not 100%sure

The store’s policy does not allow credit card or cheque payments, which helps its cash intake but makes the store less attractive to customers who do not want to carry large amounts of cash.

I can’t remember what I chose. Are you sure it’s an identifying error one? I thought it was a sentence correction one.

It was definitely identifying error, i spent most of my time on this question
Anybody remembers what you put in for this question?

I don’t remember “the map was misleading,” but I remember choosing “The map did not lead her to where she hoped to”

Yeah it was an identifying error question
Was the word “its” included in the choices? Or otherwise I might have chosen E

Wow you guys have done some work on the doc

and the guy in the ticket selling question was Jonathan not John. LOL I remember such irrelevant stuff.

I can’t remember the probability row question 8-}

8 people in a row. 5 rows. 36 students. probability that you are in the last row. class is filled by rows.

For the identifying error, it is E. “but makes” is correct because the noun is singular - “policy”.

I really can’t remember lol.

Oh but now I remember the question that asks how many professors aged at least 51. The answer is 5 right?

Yo I don’t remember a class seating question :’(
was it 5 or 15, I remember we had to find the value for 25% but I don’t remember the exact value defined for the initial 15% what was it, and 18 is repeated remove it

15% was 3.

There was a question about waist size and belts, but the numbers were too close to remember. I think I chose 62.

Find ab when a/b=6/5 and b-a=12 or something.

A question with dollar sign. Janice’s bank deposits and her January salary.
