***JANUARY 2014 INTERNATIONAL SAT***

yup! i chose those answers too …haha i dont rly remember the tinned food passage

man those were short passages so i think there wouldnt be more than 4 5 questions yeah ? i remembered three so there is at max 2 left im pretty sure we nailed this paper cant wait for the 13th of feb now =D

Oh there was this question about bioluminescence. The author implied what when he said using light is hardly what someone would do to hide in the dark? Was it that it was dangerous or it was it seemingly paradoxical?

I can’t remember the improving paragraph passage at all. CB sucks when putting two consecutive 35 WR section in a roll. I was literally black out when I was down to the last couple questions in the ■■■■■■■■ second WR section.

haha im still so worried… :confused: i panicked on the essay section …according to the questions discussed in this forum so far i got one reading wrong and thats ok haha…i feel like i got the wrong answers for the ones we didnt discuss

Lol @benjamin8451 same here

i put down seemingly paradoxical =S
oh i remembered another maths question there was a rectangle with little squares that had an area of 4 cms square and we had to find the area of the rectangle and that came up to 120, then there was another maths question that had triangles and their perimeters, the answer to that was 11-(3+2) and that was 6 and the perimeter became 18, then there was another one abt cylinders and their radius and heights the height i think came out to 8 was it ? i dont really remember
then there was on where a chord on a circle was 2 cm long and the perpendicular dist was 1 cm we had to find the radius of the circle, that was 2^0.5 yeah guys ?

@MITquantum it was seemingly paradoxical

exactly man i was swearing so much because of the 35s back to back like wth were they thinking man >.>

Thanks

yo @pringles97 confirm the maths ones dude =/

@MITquantum u too man

@satassistance i read over the math questions ppl remembered haha i generally got the same answers any more math questions u need to discuss?

man there was another one where u had to find the value of -4m anybody remember that one ? i know it was one of those first few that are very easy but im putting out whatever is popping into my head

Yeah they are correct except for the first question I can’t remember the answer.

another one was trying to make the max value out of 2,4,5,8,9 it was D i clearly remmber and another one was asking us to find the least of x/y it was a triangle with an angle a, we had to take the max value of the angle which was 75 i think

@satassistance u know the question that asked the relationship between the guy and ms vierna? that wans’t “they were cousins?” :frowning: dang… wasnt the guys uncle ms vierna’s dad?

@MIT there was a picture man remember ? with little squares inside a bigger rectangle ?

Yeah correct

@pringles, no bro see the book was given to Mrs. Verma’s father by a cloose friend, and that close friend turned out to be Bose’s uncle and as the intro mentioned, Bose was brought up by his uncle we concluded that they both were brought up by people who were friends
