<p>Well… short story long: I came across some hard academic times last year. Things were pretty rough and my GPA was sitting at a lowly 3.7. I decided to take some drastic measures and develop an ingenious method of standardized testing chicanery. I went on the “Black Market SAT” section on craigslist and employed an academic genius in Angola (all the other countries were too conspicuous). We agreed to swap places for a few weeks in January. I hooked him up with a non-rev flight from his hometown and he bartered the last of his Angolan Kwanza. I was able to hitch a ride on a last minute Congo Airways flight. I arrived in Angola on the 22nd, with just enough time to assimilate with the locals. Armed with a masterfully forged identification card (under the Angolan’s name of course), I strode into the testing room in the little village of Cacolo, ready to show the ETS how a true pro takes a standardized test. Everything went as planned, with one little exception. Apparently, in the midst of this glorious operation, I wrote down my real (non-Angolan) address on the testing sheet. And, just my luck, Angola is experiencing the worst monsoon season in years. Thus, I am stuck here, waiting. The next flight out should be on the 13th. I plan to arrive stateside on the eve of the 14th. Hopefully, I shall receive my hard earned 2400 then. </p>
