so did anyone else happen to have questions that asked for specific lines for supporting evidence in CR sections?

yea, I believe that was the passage about a survey of IT employees… I’m pretty sure it is experimental

It was 2.67 after rounding, but I think 2.66 might work as well… Does anyone remember the writing error id question that started something like, “That he didn’t…”? I put E because although it sounded awkward, I’m pretty sure it was grammatically correct

what was the answer to the question about finding the number if the 15th term was 108 or something?

the answer to that sequence was 598 ash1008

@mizejonathan17 That he didn’t is grammatically correct. That = The fact that → The fact that he didn’t…

Also can someone explain that math question on the grid in that had a rectangle and a diagonal and it asked for like n+w or something…

uh there was a rectangle w/ point A at (2,1) and B at (4,3), you needed to connect these two points and find (w,3)

use slope intercept form and get 3, plug in one of the points and the slope in slope intercept form to get y=3x-5, plug in (w,3) and get 8/3… which is the answer

1,1,4,10,28…whats the 7th term?
a lot of ppl are saying this is 608 but how? shouldn’t it be 208 since 76 is the 6th term.

Yeah, that one’s 208. 6th term is 76, and 7th is (28+76) X 2, or 208. The next term in that sequence would be 284 X 2, or 568, so I don’t know how anyone would get 608. Maybe you’re thinking of a different question?

thx, and is there a consensus on how many points it intersects at if it reflects over the x-axis question. On the google doc people were mainly saying either 1 or 3 but some people were even arguing for 2.

It’s 3. I posted an imgur link up and a photo of why it is 3.

Also, anyone remember what answer choice 598 was? D?

The only reason some people think it’s not 3 is because they are focking stupid enough to think that intersections =/= points in common.

For the last question in grid-in, i got the slope and plug in 3 for y. But how did you guys get 3 for the slope?
I got the wrong slope :(

The coordinates of point A were (2,1), and the coordinates of point B were (3,4).

Slope is (change in y/change in x), so it would be (4-1)/(3-2), or 3/1, or 3.

Wait wasn’t the last grid-in something like 8/3?

Also, in everyone’s experience, how often do essay graders disagree by a point? That is, how often do odd scores like 9s and 11s really show up? I ask because typically essay scores of 11 and 1 wrong on MC will still garner you an 800. My worry is that my essay definitely isn’t good enough to get two sixes. That pretty much means I have to get one five and one six. But how common is that? Won’t one grader’s score inevitably influence the other’s?

thank you
i guess i will take it again in march since i was really nervous this time.

Yep, the answer was 8/3, or 2.67. I’m not sure if they’d accept 2.66 as an answer, though.

Wait so then what was the question you guys were talking about above about the slope of something being 3?

also i put 5/9 for the grid-in question, but i think it asked for percent. Is it wrong???
some people said its okay…
