**************January Official SAT Thread**************

alwaysTHISclose, I mentioned teachers - haha suck up to the readers (If they happen to be a teacher). I talked about how teachers have such an important impact on society, but yet they recieve a miniscule amount of money for the work they do. I also mentioned that teachers have relatively long careers which most likely means that they have a true passion for what they are doing, which means they recieve satistfaction for their job.

It seemed like the most relevent thing I could think of. I wanted to write about doctors, but they get paid so much money it wouldn’t make a good argument.

ohh good one. i used personal experiences, which is the first time i’ve had to do so since like 8th grade in an essay. i talked about a lawyer not liking his job vs an art teacher who likes his job and ends up making a lotta money anyway.

i really hope that stupid bucolic answer doesn’t kill my CR score too much… it’d be sad to get worse on CR this time than i did last time :/.

i talked about drug dealers and jesuit volunteers and although the drug dealers may make more money that a jesuit volunteer… there (dd) work is toil, meaningless, and dampers society

EMS is one of the lowest paid medical professions (avg of 30k a year), and arguably the most taxing medical profession!

i got contemptuous …yes

what do you guys thinking -2 is for this test…thast what i have so far…
according to this

https://satonlinecourse.collegeboard.com/SR/digital_assets/pdfs/eri/scoring_2005-2006.pdf

its an 800…do you think the curve will hold…the vocab questions were hard in comparison to other tests; atleast thats what others say

Do you guys remember other options to a CR question that included “eliminate”? What about one that included “erroneous, delusion”?

i think you can only get two wrong for an 800… but it definitely can vary… the next step is a 790 tho!

i remeber bubbling in eliminate and erroneous

hmm, I remember the answer erroneous, delusion but I think it was wrong because erroneous was incorrect for the first blank. Maybe I am wrong.

i thought that erroneous and delusion didn’t work, who knows.

I didn’t get erroneous either

its so hard to remember now… but i think i did put in erroneous… feb 15 is so long away

how many "E"s did you get for the writing section identifying errors in sentences? i think i got 3

and in the first writing section, did you get 2 "A"s in a row for the last few of the first segment of the writing section (eh do you get what i mean?)

yeah… i got that too… 3 e’s and 2 as in a row! I may have even gotten the last finding the error question as no error, which is hardly correct…

lol drug dealers does not really work, what if the drug dealers liked their work eh?

i rememeber the 3 Es but not the as

I remember getting 2 As in a row, and getting the last question for the Writing as E

the alst question is a herself is wrong as they refer to a guy later on

mogol…on the online released test and the january q and a service, - is still an 800, in both…keeping my fingers crossed :)

in addition to the two A’s, was there another A only like 2 or 3 questions away from it?
