<p>This is a beautiful building, indeed. A perfect blend of old and new.
The dedication was today.</p>

<p>It’s been dedicated about 3 times now.</p>

<p>The class ring case is now back out on display in the library–Our Firstie sent us pics of the case and of her GGG grandfather’s class ring on display there over Ring Weekend.</p>

<p>The building is absolutely stunning. And the view from the 6th floor balcony overlooking the Hudson is worth more than a million.</p>

<p>We are going in October; I cannot wait to see that view with the spectacular fall colors!! I know it won’t be anywhere near as amazing as seeing my son compete that weekend in his sport, but it might be a close second! = )</p>

<p>I am looking forward to seeing it in a couple of weeks. I will be going out to NY for the football game on Oct. 11th.</p>

<p>My favorite part of the old library was the ring case. I have looked at the rings at least three times now and I always see something I missed before.</p>

<p>I saw the interior during Reorgy week - it is as beautiful and inviting as everyone is saying. I hope they will allow parents inside in October - are we all going to be there then? :slight_smile: I would love to see the view from the sixth floor terrace and then visit the coffee bar on the first floor.</p>

<p>I never considered I might not be allowed in when I go! Man, I hope there’s no problem going in…the class rings were not on display during A day and I want to see them…and I didn’t make it to the 6th floor; NC was hungry!</p>

<p>I do believe you shall gain entry. We just walked right in soon after it opened in August. </p>

<p>I am sure your cadet will love to give you a tour and show you a favorite study area - ;)</p>

<p>thanks! We are coming for a long weekend, and if our cadet has practice, maybe we can find a kind cadet to accompany us!</p>
