Interest income can be a lot of the money that the university needs to balance it’s books and that would affect the bottom line and budget. The interest wouldn’t be from the insurers.
Somehow I think that future insurance rates will be way higher with this history of payout.
Oh yes, I’m quite sure future insurance premiums will likely be significantly higher.

Please don’t interpret this as an excuse for the monster that is Jerry Sandusky, but I wonder what his childhood was like. Was he the victim of sexual abuse?
How extremely sad for all concerned. The young woman who told her father sounds like a very strong young woman. I love the way she stood up to Sandusky. It is good that her mother and father supported her.
How women like Dottie Sandusky can live with themselves I do not know.
