<p>Securing goods is a better word used to describe looting. The media should of said that everybody that was looting(stealing) is securing goods for their families. Not just use it for white people. katrina victims were taking food water, water, and clothing in order to survive- period. It is not looting!</p>
<p>Maybe Jesse Jackson should use his fame to try to help the people, instead of complaining about the words that are used to describe them, especially when it is the right word.</p>

<p>WoW4201 You are trying to say that everybody in New orleans was killing police officers and raping women. Even the kids too? Come on now. This is not true! A lot of times the news media try to make blacks look like criminals and deviants. I’m sure that other ethnic groups were looting and commiting other crimes but didn’t get reported.</p>
