That looks perfect for what you want to convey. Makes me miss the place my mom worked-I would love to have “K” make something up for my graduating D.
Of course, now my banner ads are for beautiful lockets. I wish they would go away because they are too tempting.
I have to say, when you said locket I thought of those old-fashioned gold kind like our grandmothers wore. This is a really pretty updated take on a locket. Really quite lovely.
Very pretty locket. I love how quick your father made his decision. He liked it, he ordered it. My FIL is similar, my MIL and myself are the type to have to overthink every purchase. We would have needed to look at a lot of lockers before we made our decision.
You’re a kind daughter and sister.
I really like the contemporary locket the OP selected. Great choice. But in response to the quoted comment, I wanted to stick up for antique Victorian lockets – especially those oversized gold or silver or enamel ones – that are super hot right now. I have a few antique ones and I love them; they are very stylish.
Here’s an example of an article describing the trend:

I have one similar to the second one in the slideshow, as well as a few others.
@Aspieration, have the festivities taken place? How did they go? Did she love her gift?
