<p>while my D did consider jewish populations at schools she was looking at, it was not based on the number of jewish students. It was based on the strength and commitment by the school to embrace and encourage diversity. Some schools that have small numbers of jewish students are very strong. (including those in the south and LAC’s)</p>
<p>The Jewish holidays and the sense of community are important for her, just as important as a rich assortment of all cultures and religions.</p>
