<p>This engineering summer intern position is in the Boeing Research and Technology (BR&T), Platform Performance Technology (PPT), Guidance, Navigation and Controls (GN&C) organization in Huntington Beach, California. The candidate will support a wide variety of current research and technology development activities in GN&C, with emphasis on Flight Controls, and technology-enabled advanced concepts. The candidate will support the development, validation, and implementation of new flight control related technologies to Boeing programs. The intent of this position is to expose new and future engineers to the breadth of the technology development activities within Boeing, specifically GN&C. The candidate will be tasked to support a range of programs depending on the intern’s interests and the GN&C group project needs. As such, the intern will have the opportunity to support some of the exciting projects in GN&C technology, flight controls, X-plane ground and flight tests, advanced/modern flight control laws, and advanced transport aircraft development. The successful applicant will serve under supervision for a specified period within the occupation and skill area that directly relates to their college engineering degree. The position will require relocation to the Huntington Beach, CA area. No security clearance is required but the ability to obtain interim and/or final clearance is desired.
