Prudence in particular might be totally misunderstood in our Modern Age. I do wonder if we equate it more to “risk aversion” than to its classical meaning. Obviously there can be overlaps. But discerning the right course of action isn’t always the same thing as avoiding risk. The right decision isn’t always the easiest one. I suppose that’s why Courage is required as well
