@Mwfan1921 it’s possible that some stuff is going on behind the scenes between JB and the admin. at U of C.
Thank you @marlowe1 for that incredible recap! UC has to deal with a crisis every 25 years or so (give or take a few) so this one is right on schedule. Love the idea of tying UC to Chicago in a practical way as part of the learning process. Seem to recall that there was some of this in the original Core back in the '30’s (before Hutchins pivoted to Great Books). Maybe they are planning to restore that practice.
