Current Sophomore at Hopkins
I’m a bit conflicted on your chances here. On one hand, your ECs are incredible. Published research and all the activities that you’ve managed to fit into your schedule along with plenty of leadership definitely put you above par. However, I just can’t get over your poor ACT score. Hopkins definitely values research ECs, but the same can be said for stats. I’ve met people with similar test scores, but they were definitely not the norm. The majority of my friends and acquaintances had 34+ or 2250+
The good thing is that even though Biology is a popular major, you apply to the overall school(KSAS, WSE, or BME) so your choice of major isn’t hurting you.
Overall, Hopkins is a reach for anyone. However, I definitely think that your ECs could potentially outweigh your test scores if you had a great essay about them
